Part Two

Joan of Arc and Elizabeth I.
A distant past with two rugged, sensitive and almost divine heroines, who were warriors and protectors at the same time. They wore armour and dresses, expressing masculine power with sensitivity and grace, while representing a strong form of womanhood full of intriguing contrasts.

Part Two's 2010 autumn collection is a striking reflection of this contrasting image of womanhood. Design Manager Pernille Skriver's point of departure is a masculine uniform style with a slim silhouette and an emphasis on fascinating details.

The collection focuses on work clothes inspired by suits of armour from the past and a World War II military look with a range of functional details. The look is reflected in coated and metallic surfaces, leather and rivets, as well as heavy knits and canvas. Incorporated into this rugged look is a more delicate style featuring Victorian-inspired lace details, washed silk and beautiful botanical prints.

Part Two - it begins with you...
