Isabel de Pedro - Atelier

An explosion of flowers and a witty celebration of the art of the dressmakers studio are the two themes found running through Isabel de Pedro's breathtaking spring/summer collection.
An exciting palette of vivid blues, crimsons and chartreuse are something of a departure for the Spanish designer, with prints ranging from impressionist poppies to delicate floral sprigs.
The style is pure Isabel, draping around the body, cinching the waist and always flattering the female form.
A turquoise knee length dress with more than a hint of forties glamour sits alongside a figure hugging black lycra dress with the 'pattern' cut on the outside. A tape measure is wrapped around the body of a jersey dress while the needles and threads of the dressmakers studio can be seen in an abstract chiffon print over an easy summer piece.
Timeless classics with a twist are found in the hourglass silhouette of the super glam black cocktail dress and the gentle swing of the artfully cut full length jersey skirt with silk panel inserts.
Isabel de Pedro's new collection is sometimes quirky, often witty and truly original. It is also designed for real women and is very, very beautiful.
